What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a recognised system of manual (hands-on) diagnosis and treatment that focuses on the structural integrity and function of the body. Recognised by the British Medical Association as a discrete clinical discipline, our team of practitioners work on the premise that pain and discomfort is often derived from changes in how the body’s structure functions.
A Multidisciplinary Team
Our skilled osteopaths use their hands to investigate the underlying causes of pain before administering treatment. We focus on the musculo-skeletal systems of the body (bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints) and techniques that include Soft Tissue Massage, Articulating, HVT or Cranial.
Safe & Non-invasive
Osteopathy is a safe, natural and non-invasive treatment tailored to each patient. In our Maidstone clinic we treat people of all ages, from the elderly to newborns; pregnant women to sports people.
A Holistic Approach
Our experienced osteopaths assess all patients from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint. This lets us determine the depth and specificity of the problem, before personalising a plan of osteopathic treatment for each individual.
