Cranial Osteopathy for All Ages
Expert Cranial Care For Full Body Relief.
Expert Care
Our experienced cranial osteopaths are trained to feel a subtle rhythmic movement that is present in the body. This is known as the ‘Cranial Rhythm’ or involuntary motion.
Accurate Diagnosis
By feeling the involuntary motion throughout the body, our team can feel whether there is something preventing the free, healthy movement of tissues.
What Is Cranial Osteopathy?
The skull is made up of 22 bones which are joined in such a way that during the rhythmical cycle of involuntary motion, the skull changes shape to accommodate fluids moving inside the head. Cranial osteopaths use gentle touch to understand, then correct, the vital flow and movement of tissues.
Early Detection
Because even small impacts or pressures on the head can disrupt or block a flow of movement in the body, problems can quickly arise in seemingly unrelated areas throughout the body.
Headache Relief
Unsurprisingly, when there is a pressure build up in the head and a disrupted flow of movement, tension headaches are a common side effect. Our osteopaths can remedy this complaint in as little as one cranial osteopathy session.
Suitable For All
Suitable for babies with developing skulls as well as the more vulnerable and elderly, cranial osteopathy is an extremely gentle, yet effective, manipulation of tissues to restore flow to the entire function of the body.
